Patricia McClean from the Meat and Livestock Commission spent time in the Home Economics department over the past few weeks giving demonstrations to Year 10 and Year 11 pupils. Patricia outlined the benefits to both individuals and the local community of choosing local meat as well as showing us some new and exciting ways to use beef and lamb to create healthy and flavoursome meals. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed sampling the food which included creamy peppered beef and chilli.
