About Our School
School Council
The School Council at Down High School provides young people with the opportunity to exercise responsibility by empowering them in aspects of school life. Established in early 2009, the School Council at Down High provides a forum for pupil concerns to be discussed by elected representatives at all age levels. School Councils enable young people to contribute to the school community in ways that are challenging, accountable and transparent.
Congratulations to the first cohort of Student Councillors!
