DOWN HIGH SCHOOL ARTISTS PAINT A PERFECT PICTURE
The Art Department at Down High School is celebrating the remarkable success of no fewer than eleven pupils who gained maximum marks in the GCSE Art and Design examination. This remarkable achievement reflects the creative talent combined with the hardworking approach that exists amongst the students. The pupils have paid tribute to the Art teachers at the school and many of them have progressed into A Level study in the subject. The pupils are: Amy Robinson, Cathy Rutherford, Corinne Hodnett, Jayne Patterson, Joanna McClure, Fiona Rooney, Claire Hawthorne, Natasha Lloyd, Hannah Miller, Laurie Ingram and Andrew Bryce.
