Parents Association Continue To Support DHS

Learning and teaching in Down High School has been enhanced by the provision of important resource materials by the Down High Association, the school’s active team of parents who have again worked tirelessly in support of the school this year. Equipment purchased includes drills for Technology, goalkeeping equipment for hockey, interactive digital resources for Physics, electronic keyboards for the Music Department, a digital camera for Moving Image Arts and microscopes for the Biology Department. The parents group also raised the money to purchase a defibrillator for the school.

Pictured at the handover are DHA representatives Maeve Bogie and Claire Buchner as well as Mr Patton (Head of Technology and Design), Mr Mitchell (Head of Science and Physics) and Mr Gray (Head of Biology).

The Down High Association raised a total of £3742 to assist greatly in pupils’ learning.
